Project Management Certification

NPM offers 3 levels of Project Manager Certification Programs to meet every training objective.

1. Project Management Certificate

Provides participants with the basic project management framework and methodologies, based on standards of the Project Management Institute (PMI), to effectively manage small to medium size projects.

To earn a Project Management Certificate, one of the following courses must be completed:
PM 101 – Project Management Tools & Techniques
PM 102 – Project Management Tools & Techniques for Construction
PM 103 – Project Management Tools & Techniques for IT
PM 104 – Project Management Tools & Techniques for DRC Industry

2. Advanced Project Management Certificate

Provides advanced training in each of the project management subject areas. Participants receive comprehensive project management skills which enable them to capably manage projects of any size and complexity. Provides background required to obtain professional project manager certification from the PMI. Participants may choose between two programs, and complete either Program 1 or Program 2 for their Advanced Project Management Certificate.

Take each of these one to two day courses individually on your own schedule:
PM 201 – Effective Project Planning & Control
PM 202 – Project Scheduling
PM 203 – Project Estimating & Cost Control
PM 204 – Risk Management
PM 205 – Project Quality Management
PM 206 – Project Contracts Management
PM 207 – Managing Teams & Communications


Program 2

Take this comprehensive five day program:
PM 210 – Advanced Project Management

3. Professional Project Management Certificate

This is for participants wanting to obtain professional certification from PMI. Provides a review of the subject material which is evaluated in the Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certification Process from the PMI.

To earn a Professional Project Management Certificate, the following course must be completed:
PM 250/401 – PMP® Exam Prep Workshop

Note: A Professional Project Management Certificate is not equal to Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certification.

Earn Project Management Credits

NPM is a recognized PMI® Educational Provider which permits participants to earn credits towards professional certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Obtaining Project Management Certification

If you are working towards obtaining professional certification from PMI, this course provides credits towards project management experience which is required as a prerequisites to your application for registration.

Maintaining Project Management Certification

If you are already a project management professional (PMP)®, the Project Management Institute requires that you earn 60 professional development units (PDUs) every three years to maintain certification.

These workshop provide credits towards maintaining your PMP® certification:

  • Earn 7.5 PDUs (1 day workshops)
  • Earn 15 PDUs (2 day workshops)
  • Earn 37.5 PDUs (5 day workshops)
